Closed for Christmas & New Year's๐ŸŽ„๐Ÿฅ‚

As the holiday season twinkles with lights, we wanted to let you know that our doors will be closed on Monday, December 25th for Christmas, and Monday, January 1st to celebrate the New Year. To those who celebrate, may your days be merry and bright, filled with joy and relaxation alongside your loved ones!

Open For New Basic Choice Business ๐Ÿ“ฐ

In case you missed it: We are delighted to share that we have broadened our interest in pursuing new business in Tri-County. We have opened HO-3 and Basic Choice new business for your agency in Tri-County, and we are also opening Basic Choice new business statewide for tenant-occupied properties ONLY. Please note that outside of Tri-County, our system will still allow a quote submission for owner-occupied Basic Choice policies, however, a UR will generate and will ultimately be declined by Underwriting.

Agency Support Team Reminder ๐Ÿ””

‘Tis the season for assistance! ๐ŸŽถ A friendly reminder that our Agency Support Team is here to make your agency-related queries merry and bright. Agents do not have external account managers anymore.

Have a question or need help? Your centralized Agency Support Team is here to serve all your agency-related needs better, faster, and more efficiently. Instead of just one Agency Account Manager, you have a dedicated, in-house team at your service.

If you need help with any agency-related question (unless it is underwriting-specific), contact Agency Support by email, call us at 561-235-7004, or schedule a virtual meeting.

For extra cheer and to stay in the loop on the latest and greatest, follow Jonathan on LinkedIn.

Flood Requirements โ˜”

Just like snowflakes, policies are unique. Here’s a gentle reminder: Proof of a Flood policy must be submitted at new business, on ALL risks located within 3 miles of the coast, unless windstorm is excluded. HO-3 or Basic Choice policies do not cover flood damage, so we want to help ensure your customers are fully protected.

If you have any questions, please contact Underwriting by email, chat, or phone at 561-609-1001.

Undisclosed Claims ๐Ÿ“

Let us shed some light on how to avoid cancellations: Be sure to ask each question on the underwriting application for every risk you submit. Underwriting has alerted us to the ongoing issue of cancellations for incorrect information on new business applications. The application questions are material to the underwriting and acceptance of a policy, and we want to help you avoid unnecessary cancellations whenever possible.

  • Not disclosing prior claims history will result in the cancellation of the policy and can void policy coverage.
  • Not disclosing existing damage may result in the cancellation of the policy and can void policy coverage.

There are two separate claims-related questions: one within the initial quote, and one on the application at submittal. Please review all questions and include ALL losses within the last 36 months, even when weather-related or from previous addresses, where applicable.

2024 Calendar ๐Ÿ“†

Our 2024 “Florida Beachesโ€ calendar is already a big hit; many of you have requested additional copies. If youโ€™d like for us to send more, please request them via this link: pti.agency/calendar.

That’s a wrap on this month’s updates โ€“ here’s to a festive and fruitful December filled with warmth, joy, and successful policy placements. If you need any assistance, our chimneys are stocked, and we’re ready to deliver holiday cheer! ๐ŸŽ
