Need to request a policy reinstatement? Follow these steps for a fast-track solution:
1. Open the policy
2. Go to the Activities tab and click “+”
3. Select: Underwriting Review Request – Reinstatement
4. Add any relevant info in the Description
5. Upload documents in the Attachments tab (if needed)

Once submitted, it’s automatically routed for priority review. For more information on this process, visit our Video Library. Easy come, easy reinstated.

See a “UW Review Required” flag on your Quote Summary screen? Don’t panic, you might be able to resolve it yourself!

If the flag is related to the Replacement Cost Estimate range, go to the “Coverages and Endorsements” tab, update the Coverage A value to fit within the range, and click “Proceed to Review” then “Submit to Underwriting.” No Underwriting call needed; Sheer Heart Attack averted.

If another referral reason is listed, simply click the “Submit to Underwriting” button on the top right corner of the “Summary” screen, and we’ll help Put Out The Fire. There is no need to call unless a same-day turnaround is needed. Click here to view the full Quick Reference Guide.

Based on feedback we have received from you, we are working on some major structural changes in Slate. To simplify making changes to a policy, “Participants” will soon be renamed to “Contacts” with a complete page redesign. Keep an eye out for more information in the coming weeks.
