A smooth inspection process helps ensure your clients maintain uninterrupted coverage.

Please remember that a full PTI interior and exterior inspection is required for all homes older than five years.

To keep the process moving:

• Transfer your client immediately after binding to Home Inspection Services (HIS) at 561-609-1003 to schedule the first available appointment.
• If you’re unable to transfer the call, HIS will contact your client the day after the policy is bound for risks with prior insurance. For policies submitted as “New Purchase”, they will start calling after the effective date.
• Failure to complete the required home inspection may result in policy cancellation.

New Purchase Exception

If the home is a new purchase and the policyholder can provide a Pre-Purchase Home Inspection that meets our underwriting requirements, PTI’s inspection requirement will be waived.

We’re excited to announce an upcoming enhancement that will make the inspection process even easier.

Soon, Agents will be able to schedule home inspections directly within Slate, providing greater visibility and a more seamless experience from quote to policy issuance.
